BF Survey 12 Months
Joomla! version: 2.5.28

I've created a survey with some questions that are marked as headings. They are showing up on the survey as text entry fields. If I change them to helptext they show up as headings (which is what I want) but they aren't picked up as tab titles. I've checked against the setup on your demo site which works the way I want my survey to operate but I can't see any differences. How can I fix this?

Hi Peter,
Can you send me a URL link to the survey so I can take a look. Feel free to make this a private ticket if you prefer.

Hi Tim

You can see the survey in its current form at https://www.ffestiniogtravel.com/index.php/test.

That won't give you access to the back end. If you need that I will have to figure out how to make this a private ticket.

Regards
Peter

Hi Peter,
Just looking into this, I believe the issue is due to the header question type using the JForm note field type, which was introduced in Joomla 3.1. What you can do to get round this is copy the note field type from a Joomla 3 site. The file you'd need is /libraries/joomla/form/fields/note.php, and copy this into /components/com_bfsurvey/fields/note.php
You shouldn't need to make any changes to this file, just copy it as is.

Let me know how you go.

regards

Tim
