Hi,

we get the following error when trying to create a new question or modifying an existing one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Thomas

Hi Thomas,
Looks like your question table is missing the alias field. You can fix using phpMyAdmin.

ALTER TABLE `j25_bfsurvey_plus` ADD `alias` varchar(255) CHARACTER SET utf8 COLLATE utf8_bin NOT NULL DEFAULT '';

Let me know if you still have a problem.

regards

Tim

Hi Tim,

thanks for your reply but unfortunately I don't know my way arround phpMyAdmin.

I actually managed to find the table "j25_bfsurvey_plus" but I am unsure how and where I have to add what you are suggesting.

I guess in "STRUCTURE" I have to add a column, right? At the end or the beginning?

When trying to add a column the following fields need to be filled:

NAME
TYPE
LENGTH/VALUES
DEFAULT
COLLATION
ATTRIBUTES
NULL
INDEX
A_I
COMMENTS
MYME_TYPE
Browser Transformation
Transformation options

I am a bit unsure what to put there, could you please detail what to put or chose for each field? Please bear with my ignorance.

Many thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

Thomas

Hi Thomas,
Just click on the SQL tab in phpMyAdmin, copy & paste in the command:
ALTER TABLE `j25_bfsurvey_plus` ADD `alias` varchar(255) CHARACTER SET utf8 COLLATE utf8_bin NOT NULL DEFAULT '';

and press the go button.

No need to play on the structure tab, that's the hard way :)

Let me know how you go.
