Hi Tim,

After upgrading to V1.2 as I generate the site map it hangs and only produces:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<sitemapindex xmlns="http://www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9">
<sitemap>
<loc>http://primed.net.au/index.php?option=com_bfseo&view=xmlsitemap&format=xml</loc>
</sitemap>
</sitemapindex>

I've just released v1.2.1 which should fix this issue. Please try it out and let me know how you go.

Thanks for the quick fix Tim BUT your solution for including categories works but doesn't produce users friendly results
eg <loc>http://www.yellowrailroad.com/component/content/article?id=34</loc>
instead of
http://www.yellowrailroad.com/client-projects/tourism-policy/34-namibia-national-tourism-policy

Hi Ian,
Thanks for pointing this out. I've just addressed this in v1.2.2. Essentially I've added the category id and the menu itemid into the url before it is passed through JRoute, so the URL looks much nicer now. Please try 1.2.2 and let me know if this solves your issue or not.

Submitted this sitemap to google
http://primed.net.au/index.php?option=com_bfseo&view=xmlsitemap&format=xml

Came back with This is not a valid URL. Please correct it and resubmit.

5 issues eg:

Line 10
Sitemap: primed.net.au/index.php?option=com_bfseo&view=xmlsitemap&format=xml
URL: #
Parent tag: url
Tag: loc

I'm using # as a menu item (standard Joomla practice) - as part of the generation process remove non standard URLs?

I've added some code into v1.2.3 which will strip out any hashes and not include any urls that are just a hash.

Let me know if there is still a problem.
