Hi, I need to make adjustments to the look of BF Auction. I found the file bfauction_plus.css . Is there a manual or documentation what colour is were used (Name of fields, bars etc) so the adjustment is more easy ?

Second question, in grid view the auction block are a little to wide for the main body, so i guess a smaller space between the several auction subject is required. were to setup ?

Thanks for your help

Hi JJ,
There is currently no customisation manual, but this could be something we add in future. In the meantime, I find Firebug with Firefox the best way to experiment with CSS changes.

If you get stuck, send me a url link to your auction and let me know what you are trying to achieve, and I'll see what I can suggest to help.

Some site templates have a custom CSS parameter that you can add custom code like this to, unfortunately just taking a quick look at your site your template Leviathan doesn't appear to have this feature.

You could add this code to one of your template's CSS files, or create a custom.css file for your site template. Another option is to put the CSS changes in /components/com_bfauction_plus/css/bfauction_plus.css, just be aware that you may need to reapply these changes if you upgrade the BF Auction Plus version in future.

Ok, i installed FireBug on Firefox.. I see the next info on bootstrap.css

span12 {
width: 940px;
}
[class*="span"] {
float: left;
margin-left: 20px;
min-height: 1px;
}

When change width to 900 and margin-left to 10 the screen with grid looks good.
Firebug tells that these values in bootstrap.css

Now were i change those values ? i can't find them in BFAuction_Plus.css (I'm new in programming things like this)

Thx for help.
JJ

You can literally copy and paste that css code into /components/com_bfauction_plus/css/bfauction_plus.css, just put it at the bottom.
If the code doesn't take effect, try adding !important to each line. For example

span12 {
width: 940px !important;
}

width: 940px;
}
[class*="span"] {
float: left;
margin-left: 20px;
min-height: 1px;
}
[class*="span"] {
float: left;
margin-left: 10px;
min-height: 1px;
}
.span12 {
width: 900px;
}

I added !important..... so now it's working :)

i know now how to modify, thanks for the help. Ticket can be closed.

For others.. I installed Firefox with Firebug. Checked the values i wanted to change, changed bf_auction_plus.css (in this case added code as written above)
